Update looks great, keep it up.
So it's really up to players, since the game is far from complete (including early game).

The one thing I don't appreciate at all is the way skill ranks are acquired.
The double set of XPs needed to improve them is IMHO a useless redundant grinding affair...
I earned XPs to level my PCs and spent the skill points I rightfully earned only to have to grind countless months/days/hours to improve woodcutting a couple of points...
The game should use just one sistem, improvement by leveling or by training/practising not both.
There should be artisans in cities who will upgrade equipment. The party will have to bring materials and/or gold (no materials more gold)
It's fun but also so sloooow. Seriously, that movement should be higher and I'd prefer that the progress bar when mining something could be disabled completly, as is you just sit there queue up a few things to mine and watch a bar go up for a minutes or so.
Thats not time spend playing, just waiting. Not any different from watching a loading screen, just not fun.
But I do like thet whole crafting thing. Finally a way to get real good equip. Its a way off still for me but a clear way, I like that.
