tyjdb123, thanks. And this is the stupidest ♥♥♥♥ I've ever seen... So much waiting for adventure mode and devs ruined it.

I dont think, they ruined it.
I like the Idea.
Games have different Idea for this.

they can use Mana for spell.,
if you run out of mana you can not cast more.
you need a potion or sleep for reful it

Or it have a cooldown for any turn
(but I dont like it, but its okay)

Or you need for cast a spell every time a magic stone (material).
Bigger spells need an bigger stone and low spells only a little.

And sry for this but last its a stupid statement.
You say the dev ruined the adventure mode only you need spell material?
but adventure mode has more to offer than that and I think it's fine so far, but still need fixes.

imo ... if they spells use materials, should they also have cooldowns? and i thought divine spells never did, but i could be wrong. i'm still having a great time playing. and, i think we were going to get an editor, and with how open they've been to modding i assume there will be ways of not needing mats when we're outa beta

I think yes and no.
low skills should have no cooldown, but maybe balance with dmg. if you can cast it every time, if you have material.
But I think the bigger skills need a cooldown.
Or summon a elemental. It need a cooldown.

hey stupid.

every spellcaster in DnD require material (some dont). that was the main rule.

i really hope dev add eschew material to save money.

There will be a slot system for spells, like in DnD, in the future, at least devs promised that. When it comes, colldowns will be gone. I believe materials required for spells is also to reflect the source material (DnD, that is) more precisely.

well, better than pathfinder system at least.

in pathfinder spell are very limited use, each day, you have to prepare spell slot (wizard).

Not in 3.5 they dont...youre the one whos stupid now lol....btw, nearly all divine spells were materialess throughout every edition.

Simply put, the materials system is badly implemented.

I dont like the earlier system. But it was only okay.
I think this is better now, but you have say it good...bad inplemented. :/

I would make it differently. Maybe they make it later a bit different. (I hope)^^

This is super-alpha stage Adventure; the devs just opened it up so we could play
what is coded. They're not done coding, this is just the top of the iceberg.
Materials will be changed, spells and equipment will change. Calm down.

i didn't notice if they've mentioned what classes are coming down the road, if anymore are. but, maybe you'll get a sorcerer using few spells without mats more often, that would be fun.
