Or allow 1 as is and a 2nd if use by a Summoner. (who really should always be allowed one IMHO)

Some changes are not as good as you think.
This has made a few boss fight very difficult (especially summoning ones) and made my mage nothing more than attack fodder (since you wont let me move him FROM THE FRONT LINE!!!)
How about changing it to one elemental gem of each type? Or even one elemental of each type (since I can summon them, that way 4 max elementals)

We know an elemental army is great fun. But leading 6 elementals (and may summon more) to raid the poor monsters is definitely unfair ;) The solution you suggested may be a good choice, we'll consider it and adjust elementals again in future updates.
