Isn't the current version the remastered one? With that size, this might just be an error of some sort.

I think I figured it out. Italian and Spanish versions of the cutscenes and audio were added, but instead of downloading just the extra stuff, Steam redownloaded the entire game.

Apart from the additional languages, this update also marks the Linux release. I guess they did a complete overhaul of the game so that explains the large update.
