How to start the original DLC? / Wie starte ich die Original DLC Version?

Hello together :)

how did I start the original Version? I buyed the director cut version and tried to download the original DLC. But everytime I click the download button the director cut version start... :( and I can't switsch the versions in the menu.

wie kann ich die Original Version starten? Ich habe mir vorhin die Directors Cut Version gekauft da diese Voraussetzung für das DLC ist. Wenn ich jedoch auf herunterladen klicke, dann wird mir sofort die Directors Cut Version geöffnet und nirgendwo habe ich die Chance die Versionen zu verändern :( eigentlich habe ich das Spiel nur wegen des Original DLC gekauft.

Good Question, I have the same problem.
Whatever I do, it just launches the directors cut. No option on switching the versions either.

There is a guide explaining this.

Simply hold shift while pressing the Play-Button in Stream.

Shift + Click does not work in Linux. When I go to steampowered website, I find a download button for the DLC, and it tries to open it in the Steam app, but nothing happens there.

There is a different method to permanently set it to launch your preferred version instead.
-In your library right click on broken sword then select properties and a new window will open.
-In the general tab (the tab it opens on) look for 'Launch Options' and click on the drop down menu below it.
-You can then select either the original or directors cut to launch by default every time you press play.
OR
-You can select 'Ask when starting game' and it will launch a menu each time you press the play button with the option to pick which version to launch (same menu as the method above brings up).
