It how it was the newer one is rubbish though.

What i want to no is how original is the original any changes apart from new res or anything cut?.

You mean that the character walks casually when you want them to speed up a bit?.
You may want Kings Quest for that, in this case its all about the experience!

And generally speaking Original Broken Sword 1 and 2 is best way to experience these old great classics in my view!

I'm not sure what you mean by slow and laggy.. The game doesn't seam to have any hesitation. i click and it goes. Plays like any other point and click i own. Maybe take a video?

You could also try putting it in a legacy mode, like win xp
