Broken Sword does not load after Mac Catalina upgrade.

Please, the game won't load after the Catalina Upgrade in Mac. Does anyone knows the fix? The game was awesome and I was in the Syria part!! Please help! Thank you!

Does the mac version include the original game? On Windows you can right click and choose to play original. If the original also doesn't work, I bet if you install the latest 64 bit version of ScummVM and point it to the "Original" subfolder of the game folder, it would work on Catalina.

Sorry for the late response! We need to update the games to a 64bit version for Mac Catalina, as 32bit versions are no longer supported. We'll hopefully update it soon, but as we're busy with Beyond a Steel Sky, we can't say when this would be.

Second this! My favourite game series ever and I own all of the games that I cannot currently play on Catalina :( . I am hoping to see the 64bit upgrade as soon as you are able to. Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the late response! We need to update the games to a 64bit version for Mac Catalina, as 32bit versions are no longer supported. We'll hopefully update it soon, but as we're busy with Beyond a Steel Sky, we can't say when this would be.

Any updates? I'd love to replay Broken Sword 1, 2 & 5 on my Mac, but it's still not possible...

Please updated this Revolution, you seen to have done it for BS2 which is great, but I want to be able to play all 5 games easily on my Mac.

The games do exist on iOS, so it shouldn't be a big stretch to move them over to the Mac, particular now with the ARM architecture.

There is an update being worked on for the game, much like the one done last year for BS2, that will make it work on 64bit Mac, among other things. Can't specify the date, but it's coming

I don't know if it's working for everyone, however Broken Sword is working on my M1 MacBook Pro. I guess they finally got around to fixing it!

Me neither on MBA M1 using Ventura. Understand they've announced a plan for a remaster of BS1, but would still be great to get this version updated to 64 bit asap
