Can't figure out how to launch Patrician IV

Update: I reinstalled the game, and this time when I first clicked on the icon on my desktop, I make sure I was offline. The launcher didn't download\update itself, and there was a "continue" button which lead to the "product key". After finding the key in my steam library, I entered it and the game finally started.

Hi guys, totally new gamer here. After downloading the game from steam and clicking on the icon to start it, a blue rectangular icon of "kalypso" appeared, leading to a window with "kalypso news" and other features such as facebook, twitter, and youtube. I just can't find any button for starting the game.

I've tried the "127.0.0.1" way to skip the kalypso launcher, but it didn't work for me. The game still launched with the kalypso launcher, only this time nothing was shown in the window expect the blue background. Still no place or button to click to start the game.

Can somebody explain to me how you guys even started the game????

By the way, it seems like I had to create an account or key in some kind of product key (??)
However I never saw any place for those too...

Idk dude, that seems weird to me, I can't even play ANY game from Kalypso since I don't get that launcher installed. It says it needs to download and install some stuff (framework..?!) but it won't. Well it does download, but not install, the installation seems to stuck or something. ...
