Just got the game.

Just got the game, and right now im not sure what im doing, i just walked around for a good 45 minutes just looting, i dont know where im going, cant seem to find anything other than food and drinks and some weird other items i dont have any use for. yet i look at screenshots and see people walking around with guns and what not, anyone got any tips?

There's not much to do right now, it's mainly just finding bugs and reporting them to the devs on through the discord :)

Ohh, so just no point to really "survive" just helping the devs as of now?

Bring up the command console with Y and you could spawn weapons and pretty much everything else

Just a question, will the alpha entirely be about helping the devs, or will they push updates for the alpha so we can play some survival? Or will we have to wait to beta/full release? Im sorry if this is a stupid question, this is the first time i alpha tested a game

So if I understand correctly, it's not a game you can play yet it's just about testing bugs?

There is a bug/cheat to get weapons. Go to the shooting range, pick up some weapons, exit then go back to singleplayer. You will keep all the weapons

Pretty sure we'll get content updates as well, but yes, the main focus is on finding as many game breaking bugs and other issues as possible. It's not meant to be played like a full game or even a beta.

You could just spawn items in with the console commands lol.

Yeah, alpha testing is specifically to help the devs as they work on the mechanics and systems in the game (this goes for all alphas). You can expect more fleshed out gameplay when beta rolls around.
