I like the visuals.

I think the sound effect part is lacking : Add sounds to toys (squeeking toys, talking dolls...), and add toys that make sounds (xylophone, drum, trumpet, electronics toys...).

I'd like the wand to draw a longer distance : Maybe right until we let go of it.

One of the most (unintended) magical visual effects is in fact the teleportation mechanics : When you use it close to a corner of the room in a way that it lights up your whole surrounding in it's magical blue aura.

Add more light & magic effects : A flashlight, a magic wand that can shoot stars, make the stars on the strings light up when you make them tingle, a toy that lights up when you pick it up...

It takes a long time (over a second) to select a menu option such as "Play" : Maybe add a visual effect (such as a progression bar, but preferably something better looking) to show that the menu selection is slowly being taken into account.
