Fantastic news!!
thanks for the update :)
The only other game that´s been on my radar for such a long time is Ground Branch, and they too (!) are only tiptoeing their way towards a "maybe" 2034 full release.
I get passion projects, but Outerra imho missed it´s train when it was competing against VBS1 (yes one, not two!) :D
what is VBS? and does it support VR? because that is the whole reason I want to play this! :)
checked out this VBS, even VBS2 looks very bad graphically, plus it is doing a whole other thing. OWS looks great and is fully functional, they just have to finish the VR integration.
Shouldn't take that long :)

^^ time flies!
Mr. Lagettie also starred in a band named Seventh
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiCRslA_0Kg <-- that´s how Outerra looked back in the day. I´ve no idea how it´s now.
You probably mean VBS 2, maybe even VBS 3, I remember Outerra being announced \ shown around 2013? when VBS 2 was in full swing. And TitanIM \ Outerra had it's shot pretty much when VBS (2 & 3) decline started and especially because of how problematic VBS was.
Still, there must be a reason TitanIM & Outerra aren't out on the headlines, despite them being first in the "whole world rendering engine" arms race.
