Anything special for Anteworld supporters?

Outerra existed in a purchasable pre-alpha state for quite some years before Microprose picked it up.

Just wondering will that version go offline and if there's any upgrade path for those that own it?

Anteworld will be still normally usable, the terrain data download servers will serve both applications (and some other MicroProse games running on the same platform).

Also, everybody who bought Anteworld sandbox will be entitled to receive a free Steam key for Outerra World Sandbox.

Amazing to see it here on Steam! Even though I'm an Anteworld supporter, I'll consider buying it here again just to show my support. I most definitely got my money's worth out of Anteworld anyway.

I think my email was Yahoo back then, which no longer forwards, lol. But I think it was said on Discord that your key would be put in your account info page (or the front page?) when you're signed into Outerra. May be problematic if you can't remember how to sign in, though lol

Where can i buy this game now ?? Before the steam released ? I am using the demo for now the Anteworld 20.0.1.13485 the lastest update for now until i can buy the full version of the game :)

Looks like they removed their own store from outerra site, so the only way to buy it now is via steam store page.

It's unsurprising, as they have a publisher now.

Full game has almost zero differences from the demo actually (you can just spawn more different vehicles).

As far as I can understand the most difference steam version has is workshop support for mods.
