I would have also liked to see a romance ending with the elf. Could something actually be done about it? Other than that I found the game quite good, just this particular thing felt like it was missing. Since I just liked Nerith quite much ^^

We have had a sequel in mind for this game more or less since the stars. But to make sure that all players got a coherent experience when moving from one game to the next the possible endings of this game all had to play out in a similar enough way that the player could start the sequel and feel like it was a logical continuation regardless of the ending they got in the first one.

Our pipeline is quite full right now. We have a lot of other projects ahead of us so it is still way to early to talk about the sequel but I can say that we WANT to do it, and that we have the idea for it.

Will there be elf waifu in the sequel?

Well if I may offer a suggestion in terms of sequel continuity. You could start chapter 2 of the game by giving the player a choice selection, based off what ending they got in the first game. So like if you got the "Ending 1 - Home" then at the start of the sequel when the choice pops up the players selects, "Home Ending". Of course this would be more work on the developer's part as they would have to make the story of the sequel more branching that the first to accommodate for the four different endings even if they are similar to each other...touwakustudio, hope that helps in some way.

We could make the sequel based on a certain canon route. I think the most suitable canon ending is "Home" (the one where Nerith stays), because the achievement description of the ending is "the beginning of a beautiful friendship". I also think it's the best ending.

In the first story we didn't get the chance to choose which girl to romance. With the sequel, there could be story branch between the two girls, also there should also be some bad endings (lol). Or there may be a new annoying girl from Nerith's world to complicate things? So many possibilities. I'm looking forward to a great story from the dev team.
