break room too big
I expanded my break room and now all the workers are giving me thumbs down mood icons. I thought having a larger room effects mood only for production, is it also true for breakrooms? can I just put up a wall partition or do I need separate break rooms with a door?

Decorate everywhere, including your loading/unloading zones. If your workers walk/run thru a bad room they lose motivation meaning taking a break sooner.

will decorations in the break room allow for a larger room?

Use the break room decorations. You can make a fairly large room.

as far as i can see, decoration points doesn't show up in the rec rooms... kinda stupid to lose motivation by going through a break room.. maybe that's why the break points keeps dropping to 0 all of a sudden from time to time. every room aside from break rooms are at 100+

i put a water cooler in the break room and it registered green on the lens, and the elves give me an occasional thumbs up when they're in there. I suppose that means the devs meant for it to work that way. Not sure if it makes a difference though.

Dont confuse the 2 different decorations. There is the DECORATIONS button just for the decor thru the working and zones areas.

The break room has its own decorations that raise the break points to fill up points faster.

The coffee/snack machine adds 3 or 4 respectively, to the number of cups/snacks available in that breakroom. Add/buy the breakroom items that add refill points. This ups the cups/snacks available, but also add the recreation items such as the tv game console, that adds 6 refill points to speed up the regen of full items.

Green dots on coffee mean its available, orange is a worker is on its way, that spot is reserved, and lastly a dark circle - empty. Fill up those cups faster along with one other change, adding decor to the work areas. Pollywahn(developer) mentioned aim for 60ish. Myself, I try to get them over 100 in all non breakroom zones. Workers and haulers will work more often/longer than taking breaks due to high morale/mood.
