Bronze Milestone - Execute a plan with a billboard linked to it

Saw a couple of old threads discussing this issue, rather than necro thought I would start a new thread with all the keywords in the title.

The issue seemed for me to be attempting to do it with a product I had already delivered. I was making yellow plastic ducks, I kept clicking 'Create Empty Plan' then setting it up from scratch/linking it to my billboard; this would never work.

SOLUTION: I instead built the green ducks which let me set up a plan from scratch, which let me link my billboard which made it register the milestone upon hitting execute.
For whatever reason the milestone system isnt registering it when simply emptying the plan, it had to be a completely new plan/item to work.

Further weirdness: I didn't try deleting the plan, so just went and tested whether that would also work in an old Autosave, but curiously reloading an older save seemed to also solve the issue (I attempted to recreate the bug by simply reassigning the billboard in the current plan which didnt work previously but suddenly did after reloading).

Only further info I can give is that I encountered the bug after I had played through to that point/milestone in one sitting after skipping the tutorial. I dont think this is the biggest issue and most people will probably work it out but thought it might help someone out or shed some light on this issue for the devs.

It seems to be a pretty rare and strange bug though, because we haven't heard or seen anything similar for a very long time. I would have expected this to pop up more often due to the recent flood of new players as well.

Glad you got through it anyhow and found a workaround. We'll keep our eyes open for more signs or mentions of this in all the channels :)

Hey no problemo, also I freakin love your game. Very 'one more turn' in a similar way to Civ, relaxing but incredibly engaging.

Seems it is very out of the ordinary, didn't mention above but couldn't recreate the bug as I had done originally, simply changing an already set plan to use the billboard triggered the milestone.

I think the best solution for anyone running into this would be to simply restart the game.
