I can't delete rooms or pars of walls

Hi,

Is there no way to delete walls or rooms (into grass)? I can delete or rearrange walls if it creates a new room or modifies into a room but I have a section outside where I would like to delete a room. However there does not seem to be any way to get rid of this.

Here is an image to clarify. It shows which section I would like to remove.

Did you have click on the Walls or on the floor? Click with the delete button on the floor of the room what you want to delete

You can try to bulldoze the entire room by clicking on the floor. This will remove all redundant walls, along with the floor tiles.

Im having a little trouble removing walls also. The aim is to make my break-room bigger.

Edit: Ok I figured out how to remove the room thanks to @PollyWahn (Ty). You need to remove everything in the room before you remove the entire room.

You need to remove everyhting in the room???? That is a horrible mechanic! Where are you supposed to put everything? Sell it and buy it back?

The construction in this game needs a complete rework imho...

Sometimes I could expand rooms by just adding a huge new section, and remove the wall seperating the 2 rooms just fine. But sadly I've made the experience that trying to expand a room just a little often tries to remove all inventory from your old workshop first, or from your breakroom, gets annoying quick. In the end I ended up refunding the game because I ran into too many stupid bugs. Shelves dont properly work, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't, often you cant place them inside a storage area even though all conditions are met.

That shouldn't be necessary, sometimes expanding rooms works just fine, and you can leave your old room and just remove one of the walls to make it bigger. Sometimes it just doesnt, and I never found a good reason for it. enough money, enough space... I found the job mechanics in general pretty weak. for example you are forced to trigger repairing your machines constantly, and the workers idle far too often instead of just grabbing a coffee. oh well.
