Game is stuck

I'm trying to play this game and it just gets stuck. Once it reaches the Dude, Stop screen, nothing happens. I don't know what to do about this and i need help!

Can you please explain a little better what exactly is happening?
You start the game, you hear the music, sounds, then you see "Team HalfBeard" logo, then it scrolls up and you see "Dude, Stop" on the screen, with a Console sliding from the top? Is this a place you are stuck? Or by "Dude, Stop screen" you mean Main Menu?

That's where mine is stuck. Tried the local files solution and it didn't work.

Sorry for the late reply, but no console appears, the game does completely nothing and won't start. This only happens to my laptop, my brothers computer plays the game with no issues.

Hi, I am also having trouble getting the game to start. When I click "Play" in my Steam Library, nothing happens at all. No window for the game opens, no music, nothing...
