Is Training Mode DLC possible without a controller?

I was trying to clear the movement challenge in training mode 3 for a while (felt like close to 50 attempts) until I decided that there wasn't enough time to move between the last two rings, it turns out that keyboard has an issue where dashing doesn't actually move you as quickly as you dash when using a controller. I was using the training mode so I wouldn't have to grind the extra mode levels for the last few weapon drops, and once I plugged in a controller beat the level without any difficulty. The same would probably go for the survival challenges as well, feeling a bit silly that I played the whole game without realizing that arrow keys, z, x, and space had that issue.
