Not that I'm complaining, loved the hell out of that game and this looks like that game with a less cartoony artstyle, weapon crafting sounds interesting as hell though.

technically it is, yes, albeit with way more control in your hands other than picking a gun at the start and running through with it

After finally being able to watch the trailers(curse you specific work pc!), looks like I have no choice but to get this and play it when I'm done with ffxv, going to be a blast to make weapons and fail and retry, hmm, now to think of a way to get my viewers involved in making guns.

Well, development STARTED as ToG2..but it gradually became its own, unique thing!

i just found out about this game minutes ago thanks to a wonderful playthrough by Aavak (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yh2zMAJYDHk) was totally blindsided by this new title, but literally the first thought i had was: "oh, tower of guns successor? i hope so, it definitely does have the visual style of it if not", then i saw the first floor boss and now i'm excited!
