1) You will be able to revive your partner. If you don't manage to do it in time, partner ends up as turret on your back. You will carry partner and partner will aim and shoot from turret cannon. You can later respawn partner in some airlocks if you are lucky.
2) You are fighting over loot and items in shops.
Co-op partner turning into a turret if not revived in time, lol, that's a really nice mechanic there. I bet the weapons equipped are lost when that happens and the "turret partner" has just a default weapon to attack along with the alive player, is that so?
1) Well, that sounds kinda neat. x)
I'm tempted to play the game the entire way as a backpack for my gf (or the other way around), so this should be a "extra mode" in the first place... kinda like "Star Fox Zero". :)
2) Ah ok, kinda disappointing, but since we basically sit back to back, we can gamble about who gets which items.
Thanks for the info! :)
While fighting for items might, or not, defeat the idea of co-op, you can always decide with your friend who's taking what, for it to be fair for both.
Yep, that's also how we played borderlands, since weapon drops are visible for everyone.
But heath and money is shared between all, so if someone collects something, the other people get the same.
