Defeating every markred monster - Bounty Hunter Achievement help

Is every monster in the game marked or only certain few? That achievement is absolutely ridiculous if its every monster in the game has to be marked at least once.

It's been a while since I played the game, but if I remember correctly there is, in your monster list, above the monsterts picture a little crown symbol which indicates whether you killed the marked version or not (it's either colored or grayed out). If the symbol is not there at all that monster does not have a marked version, which is mainly true for metal slimes and mimic types or bosses.

It is mostly grindy and you have to know where the monsters spawn. Some of the worst offenders for me were the Blue Dragon and the Dread Dragon, as they only have very limited spawn areas and getting the Wanted! ones to spawn was sometimes an exercise in frustration.

Even more so, since you can only get a marked version when you've already killed a non-marked version in the area they are spawning in. Even worse, this resets if you Zoom back to Arcadia or walk into another area of the game.

Anyway, I got every single effin' marked monster in the end, I did not let them prevail.

Go to the Frosty Foothills exit in Accordia, go into the Frosty Foothills and kill everything in the upper right quater of the map. Sometimes, if you are lucky, a blue dragon will spawn in there in the post main story part and if you are really lucky it will even be a wanted one.

I believe that this was the one monster where it took the longest to get all the kills and especially the marked version for me.

You might also try sacrificing kittens/babies/your soul (if you still have it) to RNGesus, he may smile upon you or he might tell you to ♥♥♥♥ off and not bother him again. He is fickle like that and he really doesn't like me very much.

I also have a very hard time farming Medals.... I just keep killing Moosify (or whatever its name is) for hours now and not a single medals drop. Not to mention farming for Mimic and Pandora box medals will be a pain in da butt later too :(

I still had less problems with the Mimic and Pandora box medals than with the Blue Dragons. The former ones at least spawn in several guaranteed locations.

Gosh.... if blue dragon is even worse than those 2, I am pretty sure I know how I might spend my next weekend xD

Haha, I finally got the achievement. The guide on here for all monster locations was leading me to the wrong spot for blue dragon, no wonder I couln't find it.

You weren't kidding... I ran around the map for an hour already and found only 1 blue dragon, not wanted version. It is driving me insane lol

Yeah, I was close to going insane, too, but then I sacrificed twenty litters of kittens, sixteen babies and a plethora of other things to RNGesus and I finally got a few Blue Dragons to spawn, including the Wanted version.

Yea, that's exactly what I did after the fustration. Luckily, after that post, 2 of them spawn in less than 10 minutes and one of them is wanted version so I was happy.

Just the last 4..... which seems kinda impossible to kill :( Even the normal version of that last dude on the list give me hard time so I am not sure if I want to try wanted version now or not (my party are around level 55-59)

A monster that can spawn Wanted will have a marker in the top-right of the bestiary with a 'Marked Monster' tag, and either 'At Large' or 'Apprehended.' And no, not every monster is marked.

What works to spawn the Blue Dragons? I have tried spending the whole day, and I mean, my day, running around, killing mobs trying to clear the upper right of the map, with no dragon spawn. I even have the sparkly spots coming back wail I am clearing the map. I have tried to exit and enter for hours into and back form No Man's Land. That didn't work ether.. My party is 58 to 53 in level.. Am I doing anything wrong?

As it turns out the stuff you read about the Blue Dragons is not all correct. The Blue Dragon only spawned for me after finishing the game.. I have got as many as 3 to show up in the upper right part of the map. Two showed up the 1st time I walked down to the Frosty Foothills. Now for the fun of trying to get a wanted one.
