Crashing during mister freeze fight.

I've tried multiple times and it keeps crashing at the same point when he's almost beaten. I also verified the integrity of the game and it still happends. anyone got a fix?

The same problem. GF560Ti with WHQL 331.65. And with previous version of the driver didn't work. Now I'm trying to install 320.
Tried to find saved files, but don't know exactly where they are.

I have now reverted to 320.49 (as there was no other choice) - and mr freeze isn no longer freezing. Not sure if I should stay with this driver or revert back to more recent WHQL.

After finally passing Mr. Freeze I did an update to the most recent driver and continued playing with no issues.

With it being a GFWL game, the saved game file is encoded and requires a key file from another spot on the computer. I don't think you would be able to use someone's saved file for this game.

I have had this happen to me a couple of times today at various different times, so it doesn't seem to be tied into one specific action that causes the crash.


I was able to get throught the fight by rolling drivers back as well.

I am experiencing the same issue. I am using nividia 327.23 - which has been fine overall, except for this game -breaking glitch. I am loathe to downgrade the driver, so if anyone has another fix or workaround, please share :)

(Also it would be great if someone could advise as to the safest way to install earlier driver)

If you haven't gotten it yet. The driver can be downloaded from this site http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us. You can save it to your harddrive and open it directly. Do a custom install and select the clean install option. this should roll it back safely.

Thanks rjbelans did what you are suggesting and after completing the game have reverted to the latest drivers and it has worked ok :)

a very simple solution was to use the built-in graphics card until the next checkpoint ;)

not always possible if you got NVidia's forced hybrid mode (optimus), even if you try to force the application to use the onboard card optimus will almost always overwrite this

Also not possible if your motherboard does not have onboard graphics,like mine.

Ugh i AM NOT ROLLING BACK A DRIVER TO PLAY THIS. i DONT EVEN THINK MY 780TI WOULD BE SUPPORTED BY A OLDER driver.
