Serial Number

Hey guys, I may be stupid, but I cannot find the serial number. I know that we've been given the GOTY edition to play, but I want to reinstall the GFWL edition to continue my game...

I assumed it would be the cd:key however when I load up the cd:key through Steam I only get the keys for the Robin and Nightwing bundle. Any advice?

I'm wondering if its because we are supposed to use the Steamworks GOTY edition instead... Which is kind of annoying because I want to continue my game

There has been an announcement:

You should now use the GOTY edition which had gfwl removed.

If you want to continue your game, you need to patch your saves:

why the hell would they LEAVE the old non functional version on peoples steam libraries ?

Maybe they did it for those who still have it installed and activated. I don't know.

I still have it installed and I get the same prompt to add a serial number so now I can't even play that version anymore.

I CANNOT ACTIVTE THE GAME. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥! impossible to found my serial number for this game! i have this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ windows of securom who block the launch of the game. so steam don't send us the serial number... what hell...

Long story short: just install "Batman: Arkham City GOTY" (forget about the base game) and patch your saves if you want to use them.
