FIXED GFWL / FIXED Save Game for Batman Arkham City

This is actually how to enable GFWL for Batman Arkham City for you to save the game.

Note: I'm using Windows 7 64-bit , test it on Windows 8, it might work. Hope so....

Tried everything on the net but none of them works for me, so I mixed 'em up and it actually worked for me and now I can play Batman Arkham City, w/ save file!

Step 1: (as always) Uninstall Microsoft Games for Windows - Live Redistributable and Microsoft Games for Windows Marketplace.

Step 2: Download and install "gfwlivesetup.exe" or Microsoft Games for Windows Marketplace (this is about 72 mb) (link given below).

Step 3: After installation DO NOT run and update it.

Step 4: Download and install "wlsetup-idcrl.exe" or Microsoft Games for Windows - Live Redistributable (this will serve as the update for Microsoft Games for Windows Marketplace) (this is about 30 mb) (link given below)

Step 5: Open Microsoft Games for Windows Marketplace (You'll notice that there's no more update asking you to install something like "wllogin.exe" )

Step 6: Open Batman Arkham City and now Windows Live will automatically pop-up asking for you to create a profile and now your game will be saved!

Or you could install the GOTY edition without GFWL (and SecuROM)... ;-)
