Drones
I remember back when drones were first added and they were a money pit. Are they now worth going for?

Yes, especially when you research the upgrade that makes them no longer require a receiving hangar at the other end.

Well I first tried them today, and I quickly removed all ships from Sol, since drones did it quite well. With Hub 3, I dont really see any reason to build in-system ship at all.

once you set up drones in your home system, you will have extra money to colonize new stars. that is VERY expensive
