@whiskers434: If/when you upgrade to the latest version of Unity this issue should disappear, I believe.
Hi, do you know what verision numbers are effected or fixed in or have a link to related information on this issue? thanks
I can confirm text issues as well with the Linux build. Some text boxes just don't show up (I haven't tried another OSes), as shown here:

This is in the tutorial, but probably happens in other game modes. Some text boxes do show up, until they all disappear for good. It seems the issue goes away when running the game in Very low, but it's a bit frustrating considering that my computer could handle Ultra settings at >30 fps.
Hi, have you tried custom graphics settings and messing with the different sliders it might be that one option is triggering this issue, I did get one report that it might be the graphics option setting it to more than medium cuased the issue, but couldn't replicate it on my vm. If you want to try lowering the graphics slider to medium and the rest to ultra see if that works
Speaking of which, lowering the settings also lowers the resolution of the in-game icons. Dramatically. Some of them are barely readable afterwards, which makes them difficult to use when they have no tooltip (like the icons on the right of the small window that shows up when you click on a ship flying around). Is is working as intended? I'm surprised that the resolution of such small icons would have much impact on the GPU performance.
