Slow Background Threads
Not sure if this is a bug or just an issue with my laptop that I've yet to figure out how to resolve. I have unusually slow background threads, up in the 300+ seconds now. Again, could just be my laptop, but I am curious as to how to see what those background threads are.

I am using a Asus A15 Laptop with AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics 2.90 GHz, 32.0 GB (31.4 GB usable), with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060. So realistically speaking, the game shouldn't lag. Except....I have like 21 different factions on a 160 planet game, with a 10 Full Ensemble AI, and I think 10 mods enabled. So, I do expect the game to lag and have just so many issues, which is why I got rid of the normal dark spire which killed one of my games because there were too many that my game slowed to a literal 1% game speed. If even that. And I got rid of 2 of the other AIs. And the Dyson Sphere. Maybe I should get rid of the Karzen Pirates? Also, I'll admit I've never finished a game of either AI War 1 or this one, because of my tendency to max everything out in terms of size.

Tldr: how do I check to see what is so slow in the background?

That isn't really something you can check directly as far as I know. First step though is to disable any mods and see if the problem persists. It doesn't matter how good your computer is, if you are running that many factions on that size of a map, it will lag. There's only so much a computer can take. I would strongly recommend starting with a *much* smaller setup and gradually ramp up. It's going to be extremely hard to learn the game with that many factions going on.

Basically, I'd be surprised if you *didn't* have slow background threads with that much added into the game.

Oh. That's a pity. I was hoping that there would be an easy way to check to see what's taking up so much like right clicking the time does in terms of decisions being made and how long they take.

Also, okay. Yeah. That makes sense. That's what I'll do then. Starting with the Reprocessors. As for learning how to properly play the game. Eh....I'm good. I'm enjoying myself as it is, because I mostly play to experience as much as possible, and I almost never finish games anyways. Or...start them for that matter. I really need to stop buying games.
