Tutorial issue?
Is there a known issue with the tutorial not progressing? Or am I just missing something..?

Twice in a row I've gotten the prompt to "return to the first planet to select some scouts" prior to invading the third planet but I can't figure out how to get the tuturial to progress from that point. Selecting scouts, moving them, even moving them to the planet they're supposed to recon doesn't work.

Yeah, that bit seems to be bugged. I reported it on the Mantis Bugtracker

I meant to report it earlier, but I forgot and this post reminded me.

It would be preferable if you made an account and posted the bugs on there.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was a bug or whether I was just doing something wrong, but I'll happily bug report in future.
