I don't know if there was a misunderstanding but the game is mainly 2D and it always has been.
We now added parallaxing to the game with a perspective camera (3D) and that does make it feel with more depth than before. We also have some particle effects that are 3D, like confetti for the level up sequence and other effects. I hope that answers your question :)
Thank you for the compliments too! We are very proud of how the game looks now vs a year ago.
sooo I want to ask
from the new trailer it seemed you enchanted the battle system
is the boss battle from the demo the same as in the new build?
It has been revamped! In order to fit with the new combat system. Plus we added a few new attacks. We also remade the sprites for the Moth Queen from scratch, because her old sprite work was... bad.
When people get to play it they will notice the differences with the old boss fight for sure, specially because they'll be able to beat her this time :P
Never played it! They're both 2D sidescroller adventures, as far as I can tell.
let it get releassed first and then i can spread the news around gamefaqs etc
other then that there's nothing to talk about
Just English on release! We are a very small team with limited resources, we will consider other languages after release :)
Don't you dare mention Paper Mario if this game has no partners
