how do you possibly get through this area - I have tried numerous times but get game over - so how do you kill those monsters

You do not need to kill them, you need to find the right path and follow it, and use the "shift" to accelerate when you run away from monsters.

I've been in this cave for about an hour and still cant find a way

I have given up- not much help from the devs,

Try this way: Right, Down, Right, Up and run straight, Left, Left, Down to the narrow passage, Save, Left, deceive trap and run to the exit.

Sad that you have to tell kids how to beat things nowadays, they cant handle a challenge at all.

Okay have tried that - go right as soon as I enter, pass bodies down and then right - then up and then I get gam over with a thing that wipes me out - help please

You can run away from it.. just be fast enough and don't get stuck.

You can also walk up instead of down, pass one of those mobs (if you're lucky it won't be there or doesn't notice you) and go right. You are on the same path then but you'll avoid the spawn. Just go straight forward until you reach the wall with bloody letters, then follow Meepowers instructions (left, left,..).

Later on you'll have to run from one of those spawned ones you can't avoid. Be prepared and don't forget to save on different files x3

There is a trap near those skulls. Go there, run backwards and outrun the mob with that little 'secret' path with two entries. Leave it and run to the left side as soon as the mob is in there too. Run up, follow the way and choose the small path again.

Et voilà! Cry because you finally did it :)

Ok, Have the same problem with this as everyone here. Stucked and can´t run away from the "reapers" because there are at least three of them. Has anyone really managed to run away from theese bloodthirsty things? How to do it? What is it that I´m looking for? I know there are shoes that make you run very fast, and other nice things but can´t have em because the reaper kills me right away. Would be very helpfull with a bright and lit cave so you can see where you are running and where the reapers are. Help needed Thanks In advance.

It is possible at a certain point. Try to avoid them as much as possible and there won't be a problem. I posted a path where none should follow you except for the forced one. You just have to be lucky :(

P.S.: I didn't use any shoes and I guess they only work in battles.
