Table with moon picture puzzle.
Hi all, I keep going back to a table that has a picture of a crescent moon and a couple of stars, there are three pillars around it with small fires on them. I can drop a blue light thing on the table but it just rolls off. I can't seem to do anything else. Somebody give me a pointer please?

Try again at the right time...

I thought the moon and stars meant at night, I changed it to night time but still nothing. Is there a clue as to time?

There will be something different about the altar when it's the right time. The picture on the altar is the clue. The night is long.

You have to wait for the "right" time of the night!

I have tried dozens of times, through the night, the ball just keep rolling off and nothing else happens. I've had the table lit by the moon and in darkness, nothing. I'm loving the game but this s just getting frustrating. I've worn a trench between the table and the time gizmo.

Hm. We've never seen this puzzle bug out before.
Because of this we hope you'll help us out and see if it works when you do the following:

I'm very stubborn. I've been stuck on this puzzle for a few months. Finally decided to come on here looking for a solution. Turns out, I already had the solution. Maybe it really was a bug. I have tried dropping the ball on the table at the right time over and over again. I am stubborn enough, though, that I will sit here and try it for a whole day-night-day cycle until it works (but I've done this for a whole night cycle once before, to no avail).

You can change the time, you don't have to wait.

I know how to change the time. I have changed the time. I haven't had any success doing that.

I didn't end up having enough time to sit for a whole day-night-day cycle yet, but I'll get back to it on the weekend.

I struggled with it, I kept going back and setting what I thought was the right time, it didn't work. One time I did it and it did work but I'm not sure why??
