Water flow puzzle
This is the area where you have to direct the water flow through chanels to fill the large pool in the centre of the lower plaza. I cannot solve this and think there may be a glitch in the game. I have got the water flowing into the first pool and directed it to the correct chanel - but when I try to make the water flow through into the next section, it just won't go there! I can hear the water flowing when I position the L section, but no water actually flows into the next section of the chanel. Am I missing something, or is there a glitch here?

Hi Chris
Thanks for reporting this - try exiting the game completely and loading the latest save. If that doesn't work, try loading an earlier save. Did you die after solving the first part in the cave?

Tried exiting and loaded latest save. No change. Also tried loading earlier save. Again, no change. I did not die in the cave.

that sounds very weird. We've just tried replicating it, can't seem to provoke it. Is it the very first tub that does not redirect any water?
Also, if you are continuing your game from a savegame before sunday evening, you might not have the latest patch - when did you start playing Aporia the first time?. There's two options, I send you a save game to your mail, where you've completed the tilefloor (cave) puzzle and most of the shards. if you haven't spend much time in the openworld part, I suggest you restart the level by hitting the ½-key (or ~ key) and carefully type in “map aporiaopenworld1b” without quotes and hit enter. This will reset progress and restart the chapter.

if you can send a screenshot that would be cool, so we can see exactly where and what happens :)

Took the screenshot but have no idea how to send it. I'm not very computer-savvy. The first (above ground) hub after the first pool directs the water, but the second (handle set into raised area) does not. Let me know how to send the screenshot through.

The usual way to post external images on Steam is to upload the image to a site like imgur.com or tinypic.com and then post the link here. However, if the screenshot was taken via Steam, you can also upload it to your Steam account. In your Steam client, go to View->Screenshots, and you should see a list of screenshots that you've taken in your last session, ready to upload to your Steam account.

Okay - Thanks for The report. We'll try to replicate it again! Did you end up restarting the level or do you want a save game?

This riddle can be solved without any change in gameplay. Sure, it`s really tricky and I tried around 30 minutes myselfe... -But believe me: You can do it! -Don`t give up! ;)

I found it easier to start at the entrace to the big pool, by the weighted door, and work backwards.

Yes. Tried restarting from older saves, but it didn't fix the problem. I uninstalled and re-installed overnight, so I'll try starting from scratch and see if that works.

It's not a solvable issue. I checked on a Youtube walkthrough and I have done everything correctly. The puzzle should solve, but the water doesn't flow through the second hub, even with all the valves correctly aligned.

This puzzle was very odd to me. I played it twice (for normal gameplay and for yt walkthrough) and the first time it took me 10 minutes to complete but then it took me close to an hour lol you'll get it eventually.. it just might take a while.

Also, I'm not sure if these are bugs or not but whenever you turn all the L-shaped thingies correctly right away, the water won't flow through them. The only way I was able to do this was by "trapping the water" first, change L to the right position and then let the water go through it.
And the water doesn't always flow when it's supposed to, which is kind of frustrating too.

Issue resolved, though I'm not sure how.

I restarted the game and reset the graphics to low. After that, the water flowed as it should and I was able to continue the game.

I'm not at all sure why that worked.

I am having the same exact problem as you.The problem with me is that I set all settings to low the same as you. This did not solve the problem.

I also tried all the steps you mentioned here (above)

None of these has worked either.
