Rei Training (Kari & Lady Tomoe)

I'm playing this game again after a long time.

It seems I never get the Rei Training option (https://deadinvinland.fandom.com/wiki/Tomoe/Conversations#Lesson_Three:_Rei_Training) in the conversations between Kari and Lady Tomoe, but instead conversations skip to https://deadinvinland.fandom.com/wiki/Tomoe/Conversations#Lesson_Five:_Jin_Training right after Yuuki training.

Did anything change in the game, did I do something wrong, or are these training conversations random in any way?

Conversations are random and will pull from what is available between all characters. Unless you sit through the night with zero dialogue then you just have to wait for it to roll. You can savescum it as well if you really want. If there is no dialogue at all then maybe you chose the wrong option or the game bugged. Most likely you just have to wait for it to randomly show up.

The problem is not that no dialog between Kari and Tomoe appears.

The problem is that lesson 3 & 4 are skipped and Kari thus doesn't seem to receive the bonuses that she should.

Did you already have the final conversation (gives you Bushido apprentice)? If not, the conversation thread is still active and you should get them eventually.
