Kill Hagbard? Not get killed by Yaghoub? Is that possible?
I was looking up some things online about Dead in Vineland after beating it,
I wish to try to not lose anyone in order to get the one achievement but I was going to accept Yaghoub into my party and for those who don't know he tries to kill Eirik after a series of dialogue choices, Yaghoub was sent on a mission specifically to kill Eirik by Hagbarg, the guy who originally burned down the house and made them flee in the first place

How do I avoid this?
Does anyone know the dialogue choices with Yaghoub and Erick that will result in him not trying to kill you

Hi! If Yaghoub and Erik have excellent friendships, Yaghoub will confess everything and refuse to kill Erik. Enough to answer that you forgive him. I had it so

You have to pick the most merciful options when talking to Yaghoub. If it doesn't involve killing and/or torture, it's probably the right choice. Also, Eirik can survive the attack. It involves a Constitution check. You might even be able to spare Yaghoub if he attacks you, but I've only had the attack happen once and that wasn't the option I chose.

Daang thank you this is definitely where I went wrong. My erick survived the attack but I was so shocked by it being Yaghoub!

I felt like it had something to do with those options and I started off merciful but somehow tricked myself into thinking he wouldn't approve of that and beef'd it all up.

Thank you both I will try better this time to make them better friends

I picked the most merciful option in the dialog and survived the attempt during game, but when I ended the game Yaghoub still knifed Eirik several years later in the post-game epilogue.

Yaghoub never confessed to being Hagbard's man in my playthrough, so I don't know if I did something wrong, or Eirik will always get assassinated in the epilogue if I let Yaghoub live in game.

There was someone who said they got Yaghoub to confess, I don't know how but I think it can be done! So crazy! Dang that post-game dialogue. Reminds me of Knut's I wonder if theres a way to rehabilitate him

Don't know if there is a event requirement or it just happen as you progress the day, I finish the game on day 100 and most of my team bio are still ??? .
Mine tried to stab Erik and surviving that and another roll check just make Erik kill him, I didn't get to spare him
