Linux version

Hi, you had linux support listed in your greenlight campaign. Is this still being planned? Thank you!

I have a guy doing the Linux harness for me. I will check how he is doing on that.

Has anyone tried playing this game on Steam PlayOnLinux? Would love to play this.

I did not try. I'm not sure it is a good idea to pay for a game you are not sure you will still be able to play when either Wine or the game itself release a new version. But that's only my point of view ^^

I use Wine only for League of Legends (which is free to play)

You are 100% correct.

I think a Linux release is, as always, on the bottom of the list. Pity as I find it a great gaming OS, the worlds best kept secret. :-) Just hoping there is some news about a Linux release.

It's not that its on the bottom of the list, it just happens to be on someone elses list, with their own priorities.

Although I haven't explicitly built a Linux version there are a few players out there playing it on Linux.
Ask in the Discord and you might get some help and direction there.

You need to do to many tricks to get it working. And never really got it working

2021 new year new chance. I do like the game but its a hassle to get it started under linux. Does this also count for the other newer versions of this game?

I have been trying to get a "wrapper" around the game so it can run on Android, iPhone, Linux and Mac.
I got most of the way through last time I tried, so maybe time to pull that code out again.
