Amnesia or Outlast?

Disregarding PewDiePie (since he screams at absolutely everything he sees), I was wondering which one do you think is the superior (=scarier) game of the 2?

lets put it this way...
Amnesia paved the way for a revolution in horror. utilising no weapons but your brain to escape the monsters. i would go amnesia. outlast is a recent game that hasnt quite got so good as amnesia. the graphics are also a LOT more better in outlast (almost computer breaking) so i suggest amnesia if you havent got a TOP gaming computer

I'm currently playing through Amnesia: DD atm on my youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CyJv3X-X8M and am wondering is outlast as scary as people say it is? I mean I get chills playing through Amnesia due to the very mysterious and sinister atmosphere. But how different is outlast ^^? Many thanks

Both games are good in their own right. But I prefer Amnesia to Outlast. Amnesia has incredible atmosphere, and it's rightfully on of the best horror games ever made. And the modding community can make incredible custom stories to keep the experience lasting forever.

Amnesia has a better story plus, it's creepy in the right way.
Outlast is still creepy af, just not as good.

Amnesia and Outlast are both equaly good, amnesia is scary as !@#$ and so is Outlast equaly, but i think amnesia has a longer gameplay + costume stories, hope this helps you :D I just bought Amnesia :P

I've played both Amnesia : The Dark Descent and Outlast at least three or four times (I am addicted to horror games mostly), and after the first two play throughs of Amnesia, I was like "ehh, screw this ♥♥♥♥♥♥." But when I played Outlast on the third playthrough, walking around a corner and seeing Chris Walker (huge guy), even though I totally expected it to happen by the time it was the third play through, I was like "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥." And he ripped my head off. In my opinion, Outlast is the winner.
