There are lots of types of these game sout there, many with little or no reconition. Google horror games, or indie horror games, or free horror games, and after a little digging you'll find some decent ones.
But as the evil cake offering AI above stated, the Penumbra series is the previous games from Amnesia's dev team and has a very similar play style and fully worth your time.
And don't forget Amnesia has a map/story editor so there are fan made stories and stuf fyou can get for Amnesia to play.
Enough Said
You may want to check out some of the HL1/2 mods that are available, such as: Cry of Fear, Afraid of Monsters, etc. There's quite a few out there.
"White Day: A Labyrinth named School"
The game is a Korean survival horror game, which was released in 2001. Yes the graphics might be "old" but it's actually alright. The game is seen as one of the scariest games ever created. It is so scary that the devs even had to release patches to make it less scary.
Getting it might be a problem, HOWEVER, there is a project going on from Unnamed Studios and they have made an English version of the game. I have recently played the game myself and I can honestly say that it was scary!
Penumbra is my favourite by far (same people) and Condemned 2 and Darkness Within 2 are nice and scary.
