Trying To Install White Night

I downloaded White Night from moddb.com and extracted the files into the custom_stories folder but it doesn't show when I bring up the game and click custom story. Ideas on why???

I haven't played that one, but I'm pretty sure that one is a full conversion mod. Regular custom stories go in the custom_stories folder, but full conversion mods go in the main Amnesia folder. Once you put it there, I believe you can start the story from a .bat file. There may be more/better instructions on the moddb page, or check the files you excracted - some come with readme files with specific installation instructions.

Been awhile but, white night is a full conversion, follow instructions on how to run it and it is very good, enjoy

Yeah I figured out all of that. Question though does full conversion mean I can no longer play vanilla or will I still be able to???

I've only stuck with regular custom stories so far, but as far as I know, everything should be just fine. And multiple full conversion mods shouldn't interfere with each other either.

I still wanna play the vanilla but I'm afraid I'll forget about White Night before I finish vanilla is why I asked haha. I just put the files in a folder on my desktop in case they did change anything.
