How important is Amnesia Justine in the franchise?

So i recently finished all Amnesia games from 1-4 but when i found out there's a third ending in the first game from the wiki i just realized i forgot about Amnesia Justine and i have not played it.

Is there any important conncections to it in the Amnesia lore or future titles in general?

Not really, it's just a stand alone thing. Takes about 1.5 - 2 hours to beat IIRC. It's still pretty fun, though, so if you're looking to play more Amnesia, I definitely recommend it.

Your not alone, I also havent played Justine yet even though I'm a fan of the franchise. Justine is largely standalone I figured.

It's definitely worth playing. It is connected to the original story, but is a game of it's own with a different style and even different time period.
