Other horror games with insanity effects?
Loved the concept since eternal darkness and this is really one of the only ones I've played that has this effect besides darkness. Does anyone out there know of any horror games with the same kind of concept, where scary stuff impacts your sanity and makes you see crazy stuff? Its a bit more subtle in this one than eternal darkness but its still one thing that really added a cool extra dimension to this game, and one of the things I like most about it.

I don't know any about sanity but I can recommend SCP: Containment Breach. When you encounter certain SCPs and get hurt your screen begins to do some funky stuff.

Also maybe Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion with some of the SCP things, but it's more of a way more linear game.

Visage has insanity but its a whole other level than these games, for sure the story is not as good as these games, but the horror level is a step above amnesia without a doubt!

The Dead Space trilogy, especially Dead Space 3 in co op. Player One will experience things whilst Player Two doesn't.

Hunting Ground had a decent panic effect, but the game is kinda hard to come by nowadays. (I know, I am quite late, but maybe you will still read it.^^)
