Games like Amnesia?
While I am not particularly impressed by the horror aspect of the game, I do love this type of first-person exploration-based gameplay, especially when combined to a frankly brilliant physics engine that allows more realistic and intuitive interactions with the environment.

Are there more games like it outside of Frictional's catalogue? I have already played Outlast, which I thought was alright, even though it focuses more on running away from monsters than playing with physics.

While it is still in frictional's catalogue and is much more focused on story, there is also SOMA.

The reason I asked about games outside of Frictional's catalogue is because I already own the Penumbra trilogy and I fully intend to play SOMA at some point.

Little Nightmares reminded me of Amnesia sometimes. It's not a horror game, but it is pretty creepy and well made. It's real short, and the controls are pretty akward sometimes due to the camera positions, but if you look past that, it's a real fun and creepy adventure game with a hidden story open to speculation.

This might seem like a strange suggestion but go check out System Shock 2. Alongside exploration and horror it adds RPG elements to the mix and is much more combat centric.

It's also widely recognized as one of the greatest PC games of all time.

Not only do I know about System Shock 2, but I played it a lot throughout my adolescence! :)

In hindsight, though, I do not think it deserves its reputation; I mean, it is a good game, do not get me wrong, but damn is it broken. I know there are mods to fix or at least alleviate some of its problems, but there is so much you can do with the vanilla level design. :/

Besides of SOMA and Little Nightmares, Resident Evil HD Remaster has the same "old-abandoned-castle" vibe of this masterpiece, so I recommend that as well. If you're also familiarized with Resident Evil, then maybe Remothered: Tormented Fathers could interest you. All of these games I'm mentioning are set in a castle or mansion similar to Brennenburg (from this game).

Not sure if youre still looking for, but the Penumbra saga was made by the same team that did Amnesia, it is older but good as Amnesia
