Cistern valve puzzle bugged.

It's been a while since I loaded this one up but now when I have completed all the valves in the cistern the game doesn't register it as completed so can't progress. Anyone else having this new problem?

Should be 3 for water and 1 valve to turn off the 3 steam pipes. This the area you're talking about?

yes, when I complete it the white flash doesn't happen so it doesn't register as being completed. I did it to death before so gave it a few years break. It's not working now.

Back to the topic: I do remember getting this bug once, but that was years ago before I started playing this again after Rebirth was released. Ran through TDD a few times lately on normal and hardcore to get the achievements. I doubt it had anything to do with order, but I'm fond of solving the control room before going into the area in question.

The gal is a serial stalker on the forums, I'm not the only person who have problems with them. She didn't even get the right account second for the second half.

As to the bug I noticed the diary notes don't activate either but it sounds like an old problem I was lucky enough to miss the first time.

Hey I had this issue as well and I looked it up and it was because although I completed all valves etc.. I didn't do everything in the order that the level was completed it. I looked up a walkthrough and did everything in order of the video and it then worked. I can't give you all the details on the issue as this was 1/2 years ago and I can't remember everything, but I remember of this issue. Hope this helps.

Thank you I will start again and give it a go. I haven't found anything in game that suggests it needs to be done in order. The fuses for the elevator don't work that way.

I have this bug too a couple of times, the thing that worked for me was, that you have too do the machine room first, then do the Morge, and last do the vavle level. it should work!

Ahh that must be it. I did the valve level first just to get it over with. Thank you.
