online co op?

if i invite a friend through steam on the co op selection would it work? or do they have to be in the same room irl to play co-op?

The game was originally limited to be played in the same room but I think you can play it online using Steam's "Remote Play Together" option.

You could play pikuniku using a dualshock controller together make sure you have the controller connected.
i use a ps3 controller but steam thinks its a dualshock controller.
you could play pikunkiu using a dualshock controller (or try make steam think you are using a dualshock controller) because i've played with my cousin in the same house same room irl.
