Anything similar?
I have completed this with my 4 year old son many times now, is there any games that you can recommend that is similar, and of course apporpriate? he is obsessed and I want to play something different. haha

Have you tried ibb & obb? It's on sale now.

No I haven’t, I will check it out. Thank you! There is hope.

There are some others I could recommend if you want, some different from pikuniku but still adequate for children.

That would be great, if you don't mind.

  • Portal series is great despite having some offensive jokes. I don't think a child would understand though. With some hacks you can play split screen with two controllers.
  • vvvvvv, can be really hard.
  • and yet it moves
  • bit trip runner, also involves fast reflexes and coordination
  • blocks that matter
  • botanicula
  • machinarium
  • crayon physics deluxe
  • hidden folks
  • overcooked
  • rocket league, preferably offline split-screen or against bots, people can be really disrespectful online
  • sonic & all stars racing transformed, one of the most well made games ever in my opinion, nice graphics, ballanced mechanics, great gameplay, 4-player split-screen, variable difficulty, lots of replayability...
  • trackmania, free racing game with lots of tracks and game modes, very competitive with high replayability

Hope it helps.

A lot of good recommendations, but a lot of them aren't co-op.

If you want local co-op adventure games, the best are probably the lego games. Pick up Lego Marvel Super Heroes 1, or Lego Batman 2. You'll have a lot of fun just running around and smashing blocks. They're not super difficult, and have some of the best local co-op.

There's also a lot of good 4-player local brawler type of games that are a lot of fun. Grab a couple controllers and have at it. They're pretty light, you can play for just a little while, and if you only have 2 local people, you can mix in 2 online strangers as well. The online people are all pretty cool. (None of these games have voice chat, just typing)

Try:
- Duck Game
- Ultimate Chicken Horse (the trap setting part will be hard for a 4 year old tho)
- Stick Fight: The Game
- Tubetastic World Splashfest (no one's playing that one but I thought it was pretty fun)
etc.

If I can make a recommendation I think “Thomas Was Alone” may be one you will both enjoy. Him for its simplicity and puzzles and maybe you for its themes!

Also this is so wholesome! So happy for you and your son and how much he loves Pikuniku. That’s so adorable.

World of Goo.

It's a lovely game, physics puzzles, cute goo, good story. It also has a demo, so you can see if it's right for you & your son.

Happy Holidays to you.
