How to burn the money in Empire club?

One of the objectives in Empire club is "burn the money". I poured gasoline on the banknotes and lit them. When the fire extinguished, the banknotes are intact. What should I do to burn the money?

You might not have put enough gas down, or in the right spots. You can use Molotovs, or try again with the gas and lighter to light them up. Worse come to worse, you can burn 1-2 at a time and get the remainder afterward.

Thank you for your reply.I tried again and again. The banknote was taken in a safe in the upper right room. Gas poured three times to make sure there was gasoline on every pixel. Then throw a burning bottle over the burning gas. Still the same.
Molotovs or "gas and lighter bomb", or changing gasoline and banknote placement order, nothing works.

burn the palettes of money in the back room, not small stacks of money it self

Like Splat said, you've got to burn the big stacks, not the little wads that you can carry. Just stand directly up against one of the palettes and pour a single straight line of gasoline along all 3 and that's enough to link them and get them to all burn in one go.

Thank you, it turned out to be so simple.
Money can be taken out of the safe, this design made me misunderstood. But , other places in the scene may also drop money, such as the kitchen. And it is not true that banknotes cannot be ignited.

It's definitely confusing. I feel the objective listing could be more clear about it. I spent quite a while trying to burn carryable money as well before I figured it out.

Totally agree. The objective list tells player to burn money, meaning that money can be ignited, but not so. The real object is the safe. I did an experiment: took the money out of the safe, lit three safes, then mission completed.
