Fix your games before you make more

Im glad I have a humungus tv that I play this game on or I would have thrown it out the window. Eugen makes a good game and super horrible campaigns or scenarios. When I set up my scenarios in skirmish to balance them I have to set the ai and its allies to easy, myself and my allies to medium..works fine balanced game. I just tried the axis Cheaux scenario twice and lost both times. There are so many pieces on the board that micromanaging them is not an option..I just watched as 15 pnzr 4h and 2 panzer 4h bef get mauled by 2 shermans and a few infantry, My shells just kept bouncing off. Its hard to believe that 100 or so 75mm shells cant penitrate the sherman...even with those odds my tanks should have reigned supreme, with supporting ai infantry and my own assortment of goodies the Us soldiers were able to advance across about 5km of terrain and 1 shot 3 of my tanks with a few losses of their own..and escape..also the artillary peices can push a arty peice faster than panzer 1 scout..15 of them and 5 panzer 2, not only could it out pace the light tanks but it was able to turn around and make 1 shots on my lights...I call ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and Eugen should be ashamed of making such a childish scenario....from where the city is the ai is able to reinforce itself with anti tank guns in record fast time..march maybe 5-6km in about 30 seconds get set up and start killing my tanks..it takes my peices super long to go across the board...wont even get into my panzer grens who I attacked a gun position with a full battallion of pzkfw 250/1 at road speed..that was a disaster as well......there is also the matter of protecting my groups from the air..the me 109 is an old bird in 44 but plenty capable of destroying bombers especially in packs...before you make any more scenarios and campaigns please fix the ones you have.

Well they did make SD2 already and can't you slow down or pause the game and micro your units that way?

I own that game as well...I did not like it at first but have grown to luv it...I especially like the fact that I can chose what mode of transportation to take into battle. Little things like the BMW75 cycle has been nerfed a little but can live with it. I also like that fact that I can make small regiment sized infantry decks of the same group...lots to like there, game plays a little slower and graphics are kick ass...I like most of Normandy as well..I just find the scenarios a little on the hard side, its as if the Ai is jacked in and my units are below average.
