Music File Location?
Since there's a mod (Gind's Sound and Music Mod) that changes the game's music, I've been wondering where the music files are located. A search online told me that they were in the "GameData" folder, but I can't seem to find it, and I'm not sure if that's even the right file. Any help would be appreciated!

First you'll want to go to the SD folder in steam and go into the mods folder and create a mod. Name it "Warbird Wartunes" or something. Once youve done that you should see a new folder named "Warbird Wartunes" within the modding folder. Open that. Then go into gamedata. Everything thats edited for mods start within here. You will see a folder named sound. There will be MusicInGame.ndf and in the settings folder there is configPerpetualMusic.ndf (the menu music). These are the locations. If you want to add new music you will have to place the file in the Moddata>assetsmodding folder. Then you will need to edit either the MusicInGame.ndf or configPerpetualMusic.ndf so it will know to play this new music. Read the Modding Manual.PDF for more details on how to do that.

Thank you very much. I was wondering about this for a while and never understood any of the online answers. I'm not planning on making a mod or anything, but I was just wonderin'. Thanks again!

Well, when I posted that comment I hadn't intended to make a mod, but if I find some worthwhile music I'll consider it. I don't very much about modding, but I guess that's what the modding guide is for! Anyway, I'll consider it like I said.

P.S. If I do end up making a mod, I'll make sure to credit you for the "Warbird Wartunes" name! That name may be the sole reason I create a mod.
