1v1 is harder than other modes. You have more map to cover in a 1v1. plus your allied AI players will help you on 2v2, 3v3 etc. Make AI allies hard so they dont get wrecked. Then make it harder as you improve. (by making AI allies medium and enemies Medium).
Also us pause to give your self time to make decisions, call in the right reinforcements etc. then work towards playing without pause at all all game.
I learned to play by watching Vulcan HD gameplay the earlier videos of his are really good to see how he plays and he describes he thought process really well.
If tanks are an issue then learn to use your infantry AT. they are really good at killing tanks. Mastering infantry micro is essential and is tough for new players.
When you can reliably beat a medium AI in 1v1 without ever pausing the game then youre ready for PvP but you will need to adapt many of your tactics to players and unlearn some bad habits. Players often arent as reckless as the AI and dont bunch up as much.
Seen some Bubblebox, will check the others! Thanks!!
If you only have a small number of units covering one of those sections, perhaps so that you can concentrate your efforts elsewhere, use infantry with AT stuff, not an AT gun. In open terrain you might get away with a tank plus recon.
