So let's get this straight - you're telling me that the video game industry wouldn't make progress in the modern age if a new one wasn't released every year?

ArmA 3 (Sep 12 2013): Still updated, still releasing updates, has years of DLC with more to come.

No Man's Sky (Aug 12 2016): Still updated, no DLC, committed developers despite the hate against them.

Crusader Kings II (Feb 14 2012): Still updated, new DLC, full support.

EU IV (Aug 13 2013): Still updated, new DLC, full support.

HOI IV (Jun 6 2016): Still updated, new DLC, full support.

Stellaris (May 9 2016): Still updated, new DLC, full support.


Eugen Systems;

Wargame: European Escalation (Feb 22 2012): NOTHING NEW since February 2013. ABANDONED.

Wargame: Air Land Battle (May 22 2013): NOTHING NEW since patches in July 2014. ABANDONED.

Wargame: Red Dragon (Apr 17 2014): NOTHING NEW since October 2016. ABANDONED.

Act of Aggression (Sep 2 2015): NOTHING NEW since May 2016. ABANDONED.

Steel Division Normandy 44 (May 23 2017): Steel Division 2 announced July 25, 2018... - follow the trend, see the result.


You can try to defend this business practice, but please, don't tell me developers have to milk the customers with a full-priced game every year to advance the industry. This is a very small list of games that prove otherwise - and already, it shows how Eugen Systems treats their games, and by extension the people who bought them.
