6th airborne might as well be 6th armored, eh?
seriously
so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tanks in every phase
and a♥♥♥♥♥♥ton of cromwell tanks
i fight these expecting some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ infantry combat
but i learn halfway through i shouldve picked a damn armored division
they almost never use the damn infantry

and the 6 million AT guns could be toned down too
you dont see the 101st with an entire division of AT guns

Actually 101 can get more AT guns than 6ab, and if cromwells are that much of a problem for you, you're gonna have trouble with diisions that have shermans.

Lol I remember making a deck for one of the German Air Force decks and just spam Stugs XD. A total of 16 at the same time. Best rush of my LIFE!

That's the problem. Some of the divisions can play without any support from others. It would be better to have something like in World in Conflict; you can deploy tanks with infantry divisions but it should cost way more.
Well, as far i know the divisions are well researched and historical accurate.
Remember that these divs are represented in their ''reinforced'' status when the landed airbone units were relieved by allied land forces.

And appearently after they were reinforced they got plenty of tanks. :sdtank:

I would understand complaints about the US 101st Airborne's M22 which, although avalaible and in the US Airborne Corps' armory, had been left in Britain for D-Day.

But the British 6th Airborne is actually the only WW2 airborne division (AFAIK) to have an Armored Airborne Regiment in its inventory, wihch were actually used on D-Day. They didn't really shined, their most famous feat of arms being to lose a duel with an H-35 or R-35. :)
But they were there.

Regarding the German 3. Fallschirmjäger, they didn't actually jumped into battle since Creta and were used in the light infantry role. The Fallschirmjäger-Korps under which it was serving did have its own armored reconnaissance battalion (with Italian armors) and StuG batalion, which is represented ingame.
Since they weren't used as the same way as Allied airborne, we've given this division less elite (and much more expensive) troops, but heavier supports.

I kinda think that leads to a gameplay where now everyone has to play everywhere and get really frustrated that the tank player cant micro everywhere at once. I would get hella frustrated if i had to rely on others for certain units.

None of the ab units are particularly strong in armor and the defining characteristic of most allied units was having access to armored support. Each US infantry division had an armored and tank destroyer battalion attached, giving them good access to armored support.

The light tanks were wel regarded though, as mobile firepower.

The 6th Airborne landed in Normandy with 12 or so Tetrarchs and at least 4 17 Iber cannons. Pretty soon after they landed and met up with the other landing forces they traded in their Tetrarchs for Cromwells.

Which happens to be exactly what they get ingame ...
Coincidence? ;)
